Open-Cut Mining

One of the main features at the Blackwater International Coal Centre is the interactive exhibit where visitors are placed within an environment that emulates that of an open cut coal mine. The visitor can also choose to view how geologists find coal seams using satellite technology, and how sites are rehabilitated after the mining ends.
