Mission to Mars
The Pod has completed it’s first stereoscopic video for the Victorian Space Science Education Centre located in the grounds of Strathmore Secondary College in Melbourne. This innovative production was filmed in 3D and is a combination of 3D animation with stereoscopic effects. The video is projected onto a 6 metre screen using VSSEC’s innovative 3D projection system and the video can be viewed with either passive or active glasses.

As a part of the development of the Victorian Space Science Education Centre at Strathmore Secondary College, The Pod produced a 3D cinematic ‘Mission To Mars’ video that simulates a space flight mission to the red planet. Used as a learning device for secondary school students, the video utilises 3D animation and design to create a powerful and authentic simulation.
